How Long is Each Quick Casual Match?

So I've played atWar since last year, but has only played like three games. I've forgotten how long does each quick casual match takes up. I am usually on a tight schedule and it would be nice if I knew how long each average length of the game is before replaying, as I don't want to leave a game mid-match if I run out of time and I rarely have more than 2 hours. That's why I can't test for myself. Anyone help me? Thanks.

It really depends on the size of the map. Although the maximum is always the Minutes per turn * Maximum Turn.

So a whole world game of 4 minutes per turn and maximum Turn 50 (as usual) would take up to 3 hours and 20 minutes.

If you have time restrains (limitations), then I suggest you to play EU games and/or casual games (12-48h turns). You can play several casual games simultaneously. HF!

I'm talking about the game mode with around 1-12 minute turns, but thanks for the replies, but not what I am looking for. I usually play EU Maps or whole world maps, not the 24h one.

Play the Europe+ preset
Only about 45 minutes to an hour per game

Casual games r best for that, u play few , and yours break of 45 min is fulfilled without pressure, if u re longer in big casual game, u need half hour or even more on very detailed maps for one turn

What I said. If a player has time limitation (and still wants to play bigger maps, scenarios, etc.), then he should play casual games!

Oh that's only the maximum. The average is a lot lower than that (even lower in small maps like Europe).

Generally I see people leaving or asking for allyend in Whole World games between turn 20-30 (this is, after 1 hour and half of play). Though if you're playing to win alone or just for security then you might want to make sure that you have a couple more hours...

As Columna said, casual games might be your best bet given your time restraints. Most have 24-48 hours per turn which means you only need to log in and play for maybe 5-10 minutes a day. You can also play multiple causal games at once or just one if you want. If you want a quick 1-12 minute match euro+ games are typically the quickest matches and many are decided within half an hour and most are done by one hour when you are playing with 10k matches. It appears to me that the games with 3 or 5k are a bit quicker as people die quicker. Scenarios take awhile so if you want to play a scenario I suggest you do it in causal. World games can last awhile on 1-12 minute turns especially if you want to wait until the end so for these matches I also suggest the casual play. Let us know if you have any more questions.

I've never played a casual game. I begin to get an anxiety attack after a few minutes of waiting in a quick match!
