Should India be divided

India is a vast country and only a big undivided country in AtWar. If it is divided it would be strategically awesome and would help in funds needed to upkeep units. So what's your answer

Divided India would make China and Indonesia a lot more powerful than they are now. China can concentrate on Japan, wipe him out quickly, then turn to India.
Indian income while high, is nowhere enough to support the sheer number of units it can churn out. To add to that, it's located in a poor income zone. India is supposed to quickly rush China to get into high Chinese income cities. Dividing India will make it too weak, and China a lot stronger.
India also keeps Indonesia in check. Weaker India means stronger Indonesia.
Both Indonesia and China are powerful enough as it is. They don't need boosts,which they will receive if you divide India.

Plus, you're an Indian. Do you want civil war, you traitorous, separatist scum??!

But I think that China is divided as well. Either India's income should be raised or it should be divided. Someone with India can't stand against other players (like the ones taking China).

Sorry but Russia USA, China and Australia aren't on civil war! India's my country (also the favourite one) Enigma. But India's economy (1250 approx) is nothing compared to the reinforcements generated by it. India is divided in other maps and scenarios. I actually want more income for India rather than divide it

Not about history or culture. Russia is divided into military divisions, while China and USA are divided by Region. This is done because they're so big and powerful. This is raising the question of India being divided in game as well, since it's huge, and the strongest country in the game. Almost every city has 8 reinfs, and can only be picked in 50k games.

India needs to be either:

1) divided (north-south, with southern capitol in Mumbai) and income increased;
or
2) reinforcements reduced.

The World Map is well-done, overall, but India has been a weak link in the design, IMO. It can produce so much, but is so poor!

As it stands, the only way India is of any value is if you already have a dominant region (like all of China) so that you can take over India and produce from it (like most of the world does in RL).
