How to improve atWar

We all know atWar is a great game! Unfortunately it has has struggled to gain mainstream popularity. I would like to start a discussion on ways to improve the game and increase it's popularity.

Here are three ideas that should not take much time or money for Admins to implement.

1. Update current Strategies to be more realistic to modern warfare:
A. Get rid of Hold The Line and Scorched Earth strategies as they are non playable.
B. Add more units like: Armored Fighting Vehicles, Special Forces, Artillery, Paratroopers and Fighters…
C. Add more Strategies like: Airborne Assault, Armored Cavalry…
D. Update current units and strategies.

Update Strategies.
A. MoS and GW - They use Marines as stealth ground troops but Marines are not Stealth troops. Their primary
directive is • The seizure or defense of advanced naval bases and other land operations to support naval
campaigns and as an amphibious landing forces. Make new unit "Special Forces" to be stealth units instead of
Marines.

B. Naval Commander - Now that Marines are not stealth, give them 5 attack and 6 defence and 80 cost for NC and
nerf destroyer attack by -1 and -2 by sub attacks.

New Strategies.
A. Airborne Assault - This would utilize the new Paratroopers and Fighter units. Paratroopers would have 5 attack
and 6 defence and 80 cost. Fighters would have 5 attack 7 defence 130 cost and +2 attack +2 defence vs
bombers. Buff Air Transport capacity to say 12?

B. Armored Cavalry - This would utilize the new Armored Fighting Vehicles and Artillery Units. Armored Fighting
Vehicles would be able to transport 10 inf, marines or special forces. They would have 4 attack and 8 defence and
cost about 300-400. Artillery units would have say 8 attack and 8 defence and cost 200-300 and would be cool if
one Artillary unit could be towed by one Armored Fighting Vehicle with the 10 inf.

2. More Competitive maps for team play.
A. Make a Map Club where players can talk and collaborate on ideas and with the map making.
B. Make a Map Club Chat Channel so mappers can all talk to each other. (use help channel for this bc it's not used)
C. I have some Ideas on Competitive maps, send me a message if you are interested in collaborating.

3. Promoting atWar online (this is the hard one)
A. Make and official YouTube atWar Channel where a mod like Sid can upload his or anyone's video.
B.

These are just a few ideas to get the discussion going.

Marines are not Stealth troops

In many countries, marines are the elite, the best of the best. Only the best would be given the equipment, the training and possess the character traits necessary to go hidden and undetected by the enemy
