I think we need a new alternative to death duels which nobody cares about anyway. A definitive method of testing 1 player against another to see who's better at atwar and for general shittalking purposes. I'm thinking a best of 21 series of duels(first to 11 wins) like i've seen in other games. We should figure out a range of settings to test both players thoroughly against each other. Try and find something most of us can agree on. IMO something like this.
Rules:
1. No wfs
2. No rewalls
3. Can't play same country twice.
2 X eu+ east duels 10k - standards everyone should know
2 X eu+ west duels 10k - standards everyone should know
2 X africa duels 3k - Tests money management + usage of economic strats.
2 X ancient world duels 10k - tests close combat gameplay
2 X eurasia duels 5k europe vs asia - Tests expansion efficiency + lategame skills. Play on my eurasia map which has income balanced on both sides. Eu is too powerful on the default map.
2 X asia 50k - some snobs call this a noob setting but it uses uncommon strats and has its' own meta.
2 X dreamworld 10k
2 X eu+ 5k - Another classic standard
2 X latin america 5k
2 X destoria 10k
1 X eu+ 15k 2 initials
Any other ideas/suggestions on the settings?

Personally i'd find the challenge quite fun if the opponent was good.
The jovial/carefree persona would be more convincing if you weren't going around reporting players to the admins for suggesting they're a better player than you.

You dont need to spam death duel to ppl to find a challenge , just go to a player u consider a challenge and ask for a game lol. Also what part of that message wasnt me being care free , your making it sound like i pmed him saying DEMOTE HIM , i just copied the retarded shit u said and loled about it to clovis like he asked me to do instead of getting into flame wars. Hell when he pmed me back about it i even said to him dont worry about it that it was all fun and giggles for me , suprised you didnt read that one lol.

This would work for games like chess. But this is atWar… It feels unnecessary to have to do so many games just to test all the skills a player has. With this format,fter a certain number of games, the only thing you get from switching map/starting incomes is a test of map knowledge. The best results are bound to show up un Europe games, because that's the map that's played the most. But for a map like Dreamworld, where you can probably get the same results as in EU+, assuming both players know the map... You would get the same thing, so it seems redundant. You don't gain much by switching to Dreamworld instead of doing another EU/EU+ game. Map knowledge should be limited to the default map for these kinds of tests, as you can get a wide variety of scenarios already from the default map, allowing for all of a player's skills to be tested, and you prevent map knowledge having a higher weight in a player's overall skill than other important skills, like planning and micromanagement.
