Also insert a system that tracks down players' IPs and forces them to play when they go afk

I think it's a perfectly viable idea. I get pissed when people leave games. They shouldn't be allowed to if it jeopardizes the experience of up to 19 other players. Perhaps instead of banning their IP or using their IP for some such purpose, we could install some kind of AI that take over their account until they return.

I second Estus. I rarely leave a game. If I do, it is because my computer crashed, my power went out, or there is some very urgent situation in my household that compelled me to leave. OR....there have been a few times where I was on a team game and some of the players on my team wanted to be very rude and insulting, at which time my obligations to that team end. Why should somebody be compelled to help a team that doesn't even want them on it win? And I am not talking about games where I clearly wasn't good and people said so. I mean games where for doing things right and doing good I was even insulted and belittled. There is a difference between legitimate criticism and guidance, and being belligerent. If people on my team are being belligerent, I may leave the game. And players should have every right to do so without being penalized.
