You can create your own channel (like cln or ally) and invite all your friends.
good to organize cw, chat with friends or ban foreign language from the lobby

Omg i wanted to suggest the same thing, its super annoying when there is a lot of players in the lobby and you are trying to talk to some people, but all you see is join this join that, im the best, jews are bad and so on

Group chat has been suggested before. Not locking so you( plural) could, in theory( because you never do), post improvements to the old proposals.
