As things stand, the advantages of guerilla warfare far outweigh it's disadvantages when compared to MoS. Witness the single biggest drawback of Guerilla Warfare: transport cost and range. Let's assume the player has cheaper transport and +2 capacity: one air transport costs 50 less and will carry 5 Marines
Guerilla Warfare: 750 + 400 = 1150
Master of Stealth: 550 + 5*160 = 1350.

So, the strat which is is bid as "no transports", the one which is sold as "slow moving but really cheap" can move long distances for cheaper than Master of Stealth.

Transports aside, let's look at that cost difference: Half as cheap marines which have 1 atk less and 1 range less. I mean, 80 dollars for marines is incredible: in a low income zone, after turn 10 and with enough countries, you can produce marines like there's no tomorrow.

Now, MoS is not a good strategy. First, the stealth advantage can be heavily mitigated by a good player using defence lines. this can't be helped, and applies to guerilla warfare too. Secondly, the two "big" units of Master of Stealth can't actually cap cities. I find MoS is slow to expand due to costs and essentially relying only on them very expensive marines to take cities.

I suggest that MoS were reworked, somehow, to make the "stealth" aspect a bit more unique? Perhaps Stealthed air transports OR allowing Marines onto Stealth Planes (with a drawback of less defence on all units)? Or +1 marine capacity in submarines?

As things stand (and a few top players agree with me), Master of Stealth is not a viable strategy when you can take Guerilla Warfare instead.

As I already said, GW is one strategy based on the use of Marines. As an alternative MoS could have the focus on Stealth Planes and Submarines (already done).

stealth planes are only viable for turnblocks from a far range, really.

Subs goes hand and hand with marines, so it's really only the choice of marines for MoS but GW can always militia spam.

Today, yes, but that's why I'm saying it could be changed to be more used by MoS users. I agree that Marines and Submarines can't be separated, but buff to sub's mobility and defense could help MoS to split their marines faster and help to keep cities captured, since Marines already lack on defense.

My idea is to make MoS more useful, but yet different from GW.

GW-is good for little games like europe or Africa and 3k or 5k starting money , u can faster bring countries and cityes and u have good money expend.

MoS- is good for long distants battles , like Euro-Asia or whole world u have time to build strong army get good money expense and capture more cities and countries because transport is coast cheaper .

thats i think.

I agree with pinheiro. Ive been using mos in the last recent weeks for big mapped games. Its awesome for sneak attacks and for getting lots of SP. but it seems each time i capture a city it easily gets taken back since the marines have poor defense. Ive gotten better now and im able to function and coordinate my attacks quite well. But for novice players who want to give Mos a try, its nearly impossible for them to do good or even win. Maybe add 1 defense or 2HP for marines in Mos? Or make stealths less expensive. Maybe 160 cost like bombers? Anyhow i like Mos the way it is but it gives noobs a bad first impression considering the fact that some may spend their SP on a poor strategy.

Until marines are hidden from the battle screens MoS is next to useless imo and only worth using to play with in 50k world games. GW>MoS x10

Yeah, using GW gives you militia that are better than inf., but are less than half the cost of inf, and move 2x as much as they normally would. Great for swarming close enemy cities The only advantages of MoS are: Automatically unlocks stealth fighters, and makes them cost only 40 more than bombers (besides adding 2 to range, and 2 to attack), increased sub capacity (makes for 4 capacity subs if you have the sub capacity upgrade), and more powerful marines; yet you can still buy 2 marines for the price of 1 using GW, and the attack and HP behind that far out-weights MoS's extra attack marines. Overall, definately GW over MoS.
