Why are Catalans such pussys?

Why do they think protesting, complaining and showing politicians on TV is going to give them independence?

Why won't they fight for it like all the rest of us and Aragon? Do they even see that every country in Europe doesn't give a shit about their "freedom"...

Wtf is wrong with them? Why are they such pussys? They clearly don't care themselves if they won't riot and start a war.

Trust me, the Irish had been fighting the English for a much longer time than the balkans fought anyone. We used guerrilla warfare before we even had guns.

Why do Catalonians want independence so much. Just stay in spain and pay your proper taxes

I'm against Catalonian Indepandance for several reasons:

1. We will not have Real Madrid - Barcelona Clasicos so often anymore

2. Catalonia is not a real thing. It belonged to the kingdom of Aragorn and splitted when nobles shared it for their intrests after their war against Islam was done

3. Right now their economy is thriving. But we live in modern world run by money. When spanish authorities will be out Catalonia will be entirely ruled by city's elites and they will not only have the money but now access to law and country contracts. I know some small countries preserved their wealth and did really well but these were Asian countries with no capitalist culture and they were deliberately founded very authoritive so avoid inefficience and corruption.

4. Catalonian Authority is already full of damgoges and Idiots. You can see it from the way they speak (blaming Israel for terrors attack happening in Barcelona), Run their football team and handle toruists.

5. As Acui said weakening Spain while Germany growing strong will be bad for the world.

6. Catalonians earned great wealth thanks to the support and assistance Spain. leaving it die now when it is on brink of collapse will be sad.

But yeah I'm against it mainly for the first reason.

And of course it's all theoretical and I would love to be proven wrong

still like most europe austerity measures engaged.
only spanish/catalans care = for north europeans it's a dead subject.

There's no need for the Catalans to leave Spain and make both regions weaker because of that leaving. Catalonia may be the wealthiest region of spain, but do they really think that they'd be better off economically without Spain? Unity is what will keep the Spaniards strong, not division. Catalonia should not abandon the rest of Spain in its hour of need
