Basically i want to make my own strategies for maps and games. It would be good to implement because then we will eventually make a great strategy that most people will want implemented.This could potentially find many balanced and well though of strategies.Plus being able to change the picture of any existing strategies would be cool and being able to restrict it to certain places.
And yes, i realize some people may abuse this but mods will most likely catch those people. This would actually be less abuse able then "other" units.
For example:
I make a game with Attila the Hun. I make "other"units. The unit i make is a horse. This horse can carry two land units of any kind.The horse alone has five defense and 1 attack with range of 10 and costs 200(and -2 vs spear men). I add a strategy called "Attila the Hun" that is restricted to Attila. The strategy would give horses +1 range -90 cost and negate the spear mens bonus by one.This would make swordsmen(tanks) lose one attack and make all other units +10 cost
NOTE:this would be nearly as strong as other strategies and could be tweaked whenever you see fit to make it more balanced just like map units.
On another note, if you remove all unit restrictions that would be AWESOME. Its hard to make and balance units with strategy the way its setup now.
Here are is one example of what I mean:
Making a stealth helicopter is impossible to make and tie in with Desert Storm. First off there is the stealth restriction. Then also cost restriction.
