Actually, there is a rule which call you for talk diretly to a Mod and not post it on forums. Yet people still do it and then ask why they got locked.

+ syrian also had a bad, very bad history. I think the previous argument and SS explain why his topic got locked. But oh well, people making forums post for blame Moderators without any real knowledge about what is happening is good.

► Moderators are humans. They are not away online, and even though they come online, they are likery AFK ( because since they are Mods, they leave the game open for monitoring on some chases). Therefore, you cant really blame a Mod for not respond you or not reply your report.

►Both Kung Fu Panda and Aelius, the guys about which you are talking, didnt had various report as MK nor used bugs on CW ( serious I was ukraine when Knez took moscow with destroyer). Kung Fu chase is stunning, the SS prove all, but since he had so few report his chase is begin discussed I think. Aelius chase WAS BASED ON ONE MOD DESICION, Pinheiro. As pinheiro explained, Aelius didnt had any report until that, therefore, didnt had a bad history about games. However, MK got various report from different players and they lasted for days.... very bad indeed, even if MK say it, Mods still cant know in which cw they bugged and no. I agree that shouldn't had reset competence, but that is only my and other people opinion. Anyway, leave the past go...

As Desu say once: Bad history = larger punish. While MK had a lot of report, theses two guys in particular didnt. Blame Mods? no. Blame the people for not use /report,

Trollvis, firstly, i am not sure but i think that Syrian got banned for 7 days before this thread, so you cant count these breaking rules as part of his 7 days punishment.
Secondly, i am sorry cuzz i didnt explained well this one. When i said "i've provided couple of ss to one of the mod", i ment that i sent him everything on PM with explanation what happened and with 5 ss, to be precise, of abusing and insulting on global. That guy maybe dont have 'bad' history cuzz mods didnt wanted to punish him, but he also did insult other people on some threads and i am pretty sure that mods are aware of it.
Lets see, so by that rule, rule of bad history and stuff, you for ex, can use any of bugs in any of games and you wont be banned any longer then 3 days because you dont have bad history? About MK, it didnt lasted for days. 3 days to be precise, and by that i mean that we abused it only for 1 day. Not days. First day when we discovered/someone told us, we were just practicing it in private games. Not in normal, not in cw. Thats not punishable. Second day, MK members did that in couple of normal games and at the end of the day, in one cw. Third day, we stopped using that and bug was reported to Amok. So only 1 DAY. I usually respect your posts but I'm sorry this is ridiculous. Okay sure, maybe Cthulhu may have overreacted but Syrian has a past history for trolling and causing mischief. Cut him some slack because he's 16? cmon that's low man you can't be serious? I'm not saying the seven day ban isn't excessive because it was but you can't come out here claiming coz he's a young dude who can't control his temper and has no self control for his emotions, we should leave him be. Syrian has been in this game long enough to know what the rules are.

In my opinion, rules are there to be enforced.

i dont mean they should leave him be, but to quote acquiesce "you cant police someone into being a better person". Cthulhu shouldve attempted reasoning with him rather than stacking punishments. the initial punishment of the mute was a mistake by cthulhu in the first place. the ban is just ridiculously harsh.

Raging and insulting is not a very constructive way to get out of a crisis. To be humble and to recognize ones mistakes... to apologize... to remedy is often a possible solution to avoid escalations and to be able to have fun!

But he isnt attempting to get out of a crisis. He is leaving the game because of how shitty moderation has become and how there are no checks and balances on mods to control how they rule atwar. I agree with all of what Syrian is saying, the mods need some updating in how things are run. And you all can bitch about me in this thread and mods can try to politely tell me to gtfo but its a serious issue, kissing mod ass gets you nothing in the end.
