Chinese scientists and doctors report that homosexuality is mental disorder, since human with that psychological problem have different sexual desires - to sleep with his own kind (man with man or women with women). Which is of course impossible and therefore it isn't sex at all in biological term, it is just 'perversion' according to medicine (anal sex, oral sex, penetrating with toys).

Therefore i can't support an disorder, illness, that would be immoral. We have to cure illness and help those people, not ignore their problems.

Everything you just said is totally made up and fabricated. Who are these "chinese scientists" and "medicine". Provide either one study, one scientific source or keep silent little child.

p.s. Just by googling the damn thing, you could get that "All of the major medical organizations, including The American Psychiatric Association, The American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics agree that homosexuality is not an illness or disorder, but a form of sexual expression." Apparently google shares the view of the scientific consensus.

Most of the reports about homosexuality that is accessible in the internet, aren't right.

What does it even mean they are "not right". Scientists engage in studies, gather the data, analyse them and then report everything along with their conclusions. How are they not "right"? What makes your opinion right and the empirical evidence gathered after tons of scientific studies made by actual scientists with phd's, wrong?

Its fine to have your opinion, its even fine to be a bigot. But dont try to "sugarcoat" it using fake science as your means. Thats called lying.

Peer-Reviewed sources are the standard for all scientific research, because they've been read and validated by other members of their field. You obviously didn't bother to even look at the links. Like all things, its' caused by a combination of the factors. But homosexuality is seen in other species and occurs in humans regardless of race, environment, and origin, which points to genetics as most likely factor. The links I posted (along with hundred of other studies) support that claim.
No, thousands of researchers do not bend to the will of the media. Read real studies and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Pedophilia is a very tricky subject because there is very limited research on it. It is very hard to get pedophiles to come forward because of the social stigma. However, homosexuality and pedophilia are incomparable. Pedophilia is purely psychological and is a deviation in brain connections, much like the attraction to feet. These things are stored in similar area of the brain (the feet are stored directly next to the genitals).

I could counter this post, but I couldn' be bothered enough. I don't get paid here to educate people about the truth. I don't need or wants to argue with you or anyone belief about whatever it may be, even if it's wrong. Let's stop talking about this homosexuality subject, and return to the subject of this thread.

No offense, but if we want to learn "the truth" we' ll probably prefer to hear it from the proffesionals, you know the guys in white coats that spent 10 years studying and do this for a living and not some random guy (or guys) in an internet game that bring religious arguments in a scientific discussion.

Not offended. Not everybody have to study for years on the same subject to know the truth or make their opinion matter. It's enough that a person has knowledge on a verified information, that he can pass on to others. Everyone is free to educate themselves and believe on what they want, and find comfertable.

Onto my decision to choose Germany, nazi Germany's human experiments on Jews and other concentration camp prisoners, led to many medicine discoveries. Germany also lead in many fields, from physics, biology and science. Most of the captured scientists of nazi Germany were responsible for the creation of the first spaceship, and many other things that improved for better or worse the life of the people today.

You cannot cure abnormalities in genetic coding. That's like trying to "cure" albinos, it is impossible to change. This genetic difference leads to physiologically differences between heterosexual and homosexual men during development (specifically in the right hemisphere of the brain), a process that is impossible to turn back. There is no "cure" and will never be one. The closest we can get is manipulating DNA when creating babies in test tubes to prevent it, which is considered incredibly unethical (because shooting radiation at a fetus always produces negative results). Proud of you for trying to use science for once though.

You don't have to like homosexuals, I find it strange and hard to understand, but thinking it can be changed and limited human rights because of it is as idiotic as believing the earth is 6,000 years old.

I don't know if you have access to scientific journals, but its worth it to read the research behind it before formulating an opinion.

There are people with diabetes which they inherited genetically, that doesn't mean we should give them (more)political rights, but help them cure illness. That's why we have medicine, doctors and hospitals. Giving them political rights won't help their condition and they will continue to suffer. That is wrong approach which doesn't solve anything.

Analogy to that would be my kid fall from bike and got hurt but to help him - i bake him a cake. How did i solved his problem with that? As i said, that's wrong approach and doesn't solve the actual problem which is leaving the person to suffer from pain. That is called ignoring the condition.

Many illnesses and conditions are inherited genetically and some of them cannot be cured with current medicine. There are mental problems genetically inherited, some can be cured, others can not. 'Different sexual preference' COULD be one of them, but it doesn't have to be necessarily inherited as any people can create affection to different stuff - which we roughly call addiction as well.

Some like to play games all day, others like to drive alot, some like to use toys and same sex person to have intercourse - which doesn't mean it is biological sex, they just call it that way. Sex can only be performed with penis penetrating vagina.

Helping people with illness is not oppression, it is a good thing. Ignoring their problem by giving them political rights is oppression and bad thing.

the interesting thing about the bible though is that all the verses banning homosexuality are found as laws in the Old Testament, and we're taught that when Jesus died on the cross he released us from having to follow the Old Testament laws (at least that's my understanding of it)

well i have to. At this day and age, you just cant provide passages from the old testament ( unreliable and contradictory - this book is total garbage, just read some of it and you 'll see) and moral philosophy from Apostle Paul's rhetoric from the new testament (albeit way better than the former, still Paul had zero credentials, knowledge or authority to invoke "rules of nature" about a nature of which he didnt even know the basics of, with his limited education, ridiculous, this kid knew nothing) to declare universal truths and facts that contradict every single branch of modern science, making a very large percentage of our fellow people and kids miserable, depressed and self-hating. Its hypocritical ( you dont stone adulterers right? you dont execute people because they eat shrimps right? yeah thats in Leviticus) and dangerous.

those are two of the rules that were abolished when Jesus died, there was an instance when an adulteress was about to be stoned in accordance with old testament law and Jesus stopped it

The US Supreme Court is tasked with interpreting the Constitution and ensuring that the federal government and the states follow it. They determined that the state laws violated it, and so they were overturned. The Supreme Court has protected American rights for hundreds of years. Don't criticize a system you don't understand.

Therefore it denies the basis of the federation which gives autonomy and rights to republics/states. Which mean system is flawed.

First, the study I posted disagrees.

Second, I think that living in an orthodox church, which follows a 3,000 year old text literally and denies any scientific evidence to the contrary, is not normal life and is a problem. Does that give me the right to persecute you? Of course not. If a group is not violating the rights of others, there is no reason to limit theirs.

But Torah is compatible with science. Modern pseudo-science denies Torah (or Bible as christians know it). DNA testing never found anything older than 10,000 years and carbon dating(c14) is inaccurate... it is isnt even a formula for measurement.

Israel found old texts in the caves few decades ago - apparently it is same as text we spam today known as Torah. It isn't changed as no one have interest in falsifying information in it. Which mean we read today same words people wrote 3000 years ago.

No need to post a source for something whole Europe and America have annually - gay parades. Promoting nudity and sodomy on the streets before children. That is extremism and it is against the law in many countries.

Religious morality does not and should not drive legislation in modern industrialised States. I find nothing wrong with the legalisation of homosexuality.
