When two units are closer, but not too closer, the game form a line that goes from one side to another side. We call this line a "Wall". It is a very useful feature in the game (sometimes crucial), and so is the mysterious environment that goes across their mechanics. I will post the very basic in this thread. First wall: Consist of the well known 3 man wall, that when succesfull, provides protection for 1 turn: Second wall: Also know as "palace" or circle wall. it provides you with protection for two turns. This is the shorter way to do it and it consists of 6 + 3 units: First, its important to wall the city to the smallest size possible. Starting from this side of the wall. You can choose the side its best, but remember to leave a small space. When third step is done, you better fix the first unit you moved as it will be linked with the central wall. When you move it, the unit will now link with the second outside unit, leaving central wall with no link. Finishing the wall, it should look like this. When you start your turn, your city is now protected for two turns! Third wall: Third wall: This wall, consumes al lot of units and is very hard to use, but if you do it on turn 1, then you have protection until reinforcement week!( useful when you are very likery to be rushed from the start, and you wanna survive somehow. The most economic way need over 3 mins and 10 + 6 + 3 units, though you will need more to avoid possible fails. .It starts like the previous one: We start from here, again. Be sure to fix the external link asap you put the second unit. This is the wall, completed. Protections for 3 turns. Other type of walls: Other type of walls: Yes is possible to do other type of walls, such as sea walls, transport walls, rewall and serbian wall. Sea walls:: Sea units are also able to wall, but you can also make a sea wall with land units. This whole point about Sea Walls was made for two implications that are wort mentioning. In the next point, you will see some bugs that are related to sea walls. 1. For break a sea wall made by land units, you need to aim for the center of the wall. The only question is really till which length you can do it. At 100% and 50% length you can do it for sure, but at some point near 1% you will receive an error: According to game, you can attack it. However when you try it fails. I haven't discovered a way for break this type of walls at a point closer to 10% (for security) of their length. All the test failed at this point. The way in which you need to calculate range exactly makes this hard to do too. I cannot put my general there. This will probably be provide by a Map Maker which can change unit's range. But for now, all is empirical. If you superimpose your sea transports over the last unit of the wall, you can get your sea transport to form part of the wall. Rewall and Serbian wall.
Rewall: Consist of the re-make of the wall so you are protected for another turn. Serbian Wall: Consist of the killing of all the units of a wall, then make a wall in the same turn. 1) We get the units necessary for the target. 2) We *try* to make a wall in the city. 3) We kill all the units. It is essential to send enough units so all the units that are walling die. Auto-Wall: If you have this wall: And you move the unit that was preventing the wall to be made, doesnt matter if you add new wallfuck: The wall will be made. The only way to prevent this is attacking one of the units that are walling. If the enemy move, at least one of the units that are wallfucked, the auto-wall will not take effect. If nor you nor the enemy touch or move or attack the wallfucking unit, then the wall will stay wallfucked. Kill the unit, then wall at the same turn. This is the situation: Your enemy have one city, and the city only have one unit around it. The trick consist on killing the unit and making a wall at the same turn. There are only three scenarios in which the situation would fail: 1. You didn't send enough units for kill the enemy's unit. In this way, the enemy's unit would stay as WF and your wall would've WF'ed. 2. The enemy send one extra WF unit to the city. 3. Your attacking units get turn blocked.... or some random AW mechanic in which his unit simply stay there. Big wall.

you know the palace wall is useless? it ca be opened in one turn, if you open the outer wall and place a wf beside it as close as possible to the inner wall for some reason it opens the inner wall too.

I didnt know serbian walls actually had a name.. can i ask why peopele are against rewalling and "serban" walling? it's something that anyone can do throughout the game and unlike a first turn wf, you dont do it on say turn 1....

Ikr, this shit has existed since 2012, it just didn't had a name and wasn't widely used, i remember doing "serbia" walling back in late 2012 in world maps. Is annoying when people name and claim tactics like this as their own, when probably clans like SRB and Dalmatia had stuff like this in their forums and is barely being re-discover or noticed.
