About blitz

When I checked the blitz stat, it looks like the militia was returned to normal. So, we can stop crying about it now. I used to play blitz back when it was -2 def, and I wasn't a big eu fan. I played mostly world games. Guess what, it was very op when I played it. So to me, nerfing that militia wasn't a big deal, because I wasn't a noob and thought blitz was a defensive strat the whole time. I knew that blitz required me to constantly attack, else I would lose my only advantage. Now with the -1def, people can play blitz very comfortable with fear of getting their entire stack wiped out.

First off, why are you stacking when you have the great mov to make impassable walls. All you need is to cap and hold, and whats a better way to hold then to not let your opponent attack the cap in the first place? If you have 100 mil stacked in the cap, you are doing something wrong, but i guess its all the rage to suddenly play everything like its PD.

The only reason I agreed to that blitz nerf was to make it more fair to small map players, because blitz is still op in world. Any blitz player would agree that your expansion would afford you quality units so you don't need to use militia to defend.

No, somehow Laochra convince Ivan to Nerf the Infantries instead. They doesn't get the +1 bonus in city anymore, which is fine really...

If you ask me I'd leave blitz as it was after the nerf:
1. To keep the forum so active and somehow fun.
2. To see if blitz loving people keep playing it and adapt or just lose faith in it for real.

To be honest blitz should never been boosted in the first place. Like cthulhu said above, it used to be certainly a playable strategy in worldgames. And as cthulhu could not speak about europe, I will and I think desu and goblin already said this before too. Blitz was never noob, it was balanced. Like SM was too before it got nerfed. People should stop with starting a nerf or boost thread about every strategy they think is less played or not worth playing.

Stop complaining about strategy and country combos which aint the 'normal procedures' and try something news and then complain about it. And playing it 1 or 2 times in a game doesn't count...

Alot of cws. 3v3s. and 1v1s. Every country can be combined with a strategy. Its just the question how you do it. Rush before bankrupt? Or slowroll with much money and then attack all.

I bet you have seen cw's 3v3's where IF turkey and IF ukraine win. Ofcourse alot fail but some people manage to win.
