Erm, when the USA invaded the Germans were already losing. They got #rekt at Moscow, Stalingrad and Leningrad. Then you know what happen? Millions and thousands of Soviet soldiers and tanks went on the offensive. 2.4 million solders participated in the attack on Army Group B (the middle one, if I remember right). It took The French, The UK, and the USA (USA may not have been needed but whatev) to fight 30 percent of the German army as yet the Soviets did better

Your forgetting how a lot of the Soviet equipment were supplied by the Western allies. In the end the Soviets could not have won without the Western allies and vice versa.

He didn't play necessarily bad, he had a good final first half. I agree though they are too rewarding towards him cuz best player. Then again if they gave it to one German player that would be unfair since the whole team deserves it because they play as a unit. Although, could've picked someone not in the semi-finals too like James Rodriguez.

What did you expect? The constrips weren't well prepared, they had tougher living conditions. But even though they had poor troops, they were tough and still took Berlin.

Well, I'm not saying Messi was bad. But he wasn't the best either, and thats whats this trophy is about. Rodriguez deserved it more then Messi or maybe even Müller or Robben.

Yes, but also the golden glove shouldn't have gone to Neuer! Keylor Navas (Costa Rica) was considered the goalie revelation of the tournament. Fifa screwed it up really hard in the end of a great tournament: "just give the golden glove and golden ball to those players that are here.... lets see... oh, ok, Neuer and Messi" WTF!

Well, i admit that he falls easely with a lot of theater. But the same goes for Hulk, Balotelli, Pepe, etc.

Yep! You are right. Even Mascherano (great player!) was muuuuuch better than Messi!

Yea I don't like how they give the awards to finalists only. Giving these awards is grading a players performance and by giving it to players from the finalist teams you are grading the player and the team while the team have already been graded by going through or not going through.

Support, Mascherano deserves it. So does Rodriguez. Shame Ochoa didn't take any awards either.
