Peacefagging

I was in a worldgame where ofc. people allied/peaced, the thing is that it was 1 ally maximum.
I find it strange when the settings are 1 ally, you are allowed to have more than 1 peace too?
I have also noticed that if you make an FFA game, people can still peace? How is this logic? because the point of the whole alliance option button was to avoid allyfagging and making FFA possible again... now there is peace fagging even with FFA..
I think the amount of allies should also count for peace, if not make also a button for peace, because its leads nowhere.

I see 4 allies and 4 peace. Thing is I make peace with people who I don't want to go against immediately. Later on I can take them on. Allies is more of a permanent thing. But allies not equal to peace. You can't end the game with all peace so its temporary anyway.

Question is When 2 people are at peace and when they attack one enemy does the mechanics work the same way as if they were allies. Is it a 1 v 1 v 1 or a 2 v 1. If the mechanics are 1 v 1 v 1 then I don't have see a problem with too much peace !

True I must agree with some parts of what you say, but my point is. People use peace(fagging) now because allyfagging is in some games unable. I find that peace and ally should count the same when people put on an amount. Or there should be an option just like there is for ally. It really effects the gameplay of an FFA game or a game with an maximum allies.

Oh and fyi, the peace/allies were in Europe, Asia and Africa. Every single person was allied/peaced in Europe/Asia/Africa... they were all near eachother and peaced/allied, egypt/saudi arabia and pakistan had to play 7v1/6v1/5v1.

It's worse in RP.

I dont think you should put limits to peace its the people's chose to do this, if you will forbid it then you will get it in secret

Finally something that i can really agree with Waffel. make a way to limit peace please as an option.

^ I use peace to prevent gang or double team, i will declare war on these people later. Or just so that if I get warred there is 1 turn delay atleast and a notification.

Waffel I totally agree with you. I hate peace fagging as much as ally fagging. For me it's just the same. You guys say that you peace so you don't get double teamed or to fight someone later but by that you're double teaming someone else or allowing some double team in another place. If you don't wanna fight someone in the moment put up some walls and grow some balls

Of couse. There is only one difference between alliance in unexperienced players and experienced players:

Experienced players ally only when there is no other way of win.
Unexperience players ally only for have an easy game.

But both have the same meaning: Win. If you want to win, you need to control the diplomarcy around you.

That stuff of " I wont ally anybody. Come at me 19 vs 1 " does not work. LOL
(Unless you are hdrakon, of couse)

I dont mind playing against 3vs1 or whatever, but guess what. I know a bit of diplomarcy, I wont let it happen.

With peace-fagging, in the end the will have to fight eachother. Not to mention that even if there was a limit on peace treaties, players would still opt for PMing eachother on "no attacking for awhile?" so that they can concentrate forces elsewhere, then comeback to it when they are ready. It'd be achieving the same thing peace treaties do.

Peace treaties just make it seem more legitimate and gives them at least a turn of preparation.

I agree with this but it is still the same issue as a FFA game. people can secret ally even if you make the settings to where they can never ally end. When you play a game with clan mates they will almost always work together to bring down the world then fight it out for the win its how the game is played and so that is how I could get around this, its a great idea but it will never be perfect because of secret alliances even if they cant ally end

In that case, pls tell me how would you avoid having a guy that peaces everyone but you... and you also shouldn't forget that you have your own bussines to attend (more opponents coming at you)

In this case, neither you or them would be able to gangbang on one concrete player cause there would be a limit for peacing... so you'd have to choose your peace carefully for the better result. They would be in the exact same situation as you. But for now, what people just do is peace the most people to win...

Just wait till i teach you guys about secret peace and secret allies, you will probably try to fix that too. How about just deal with it, it was never a problem to begin with for me. Real world politics will never be FFA
