[SUGGESTIONS] Moderator of The Year 2019

I present to you, for the third time ever, Moderator of the Year 2019: Suggestions.

There are two players selected for MoTY, one by the community and one by the AtWar staff. In this thread, you can give us suggestions of who you believe deserves the award with valid reasoning and we will make a list of those suggestions where you will vote to have our winner.

Suggestions will last exactly one week from this date.


Please only serious suggestions here and no irrelevant posts. Good luck to everyone and we are looking forward to your suggestions!

Some worthy Moderators I'd consider suggesting in my own opinion:

Sid
For his help on the Supporters team, either it is helping with Moderator only tasks that couldn't be completed, video recording, attending meetings, deleting toxic unleashed posts, and more; Sid was essential to atWar and still is.

Sascha
For his help as one of the leaders of the Supporter Team. Without Sascha, I would not have been able to get the amount of work I did this year done. He is a team player, a good one at that.

Brianwl
Spearheading community issues, as well as keeping it under control. On top of this, leading the Mod team and spearheading the CW scene with it's PB-EC situation, Honor Code, and Final Four Tourney (all of what I listed here are Moderator tasks as well- not just Admin)

Investing himself personally into every situation or problem that comes up.Making sure that every problem gets solved. Genuinely the most warm hearted moderator that we have had in this game.
Eagle
For actively being involved with the community in a more competitive way. When there was a problem with a clan war or duel he was the person to speak to because he was the most active mod during the dead and dry seasons of competitive.

It might seem like bias since I am in a clan with him but hear me out, Cold Case has not only been active playing wise but actually his involvement in the community too where as some moderators may be active playing or active in the community, very rarely do they do all of the above.

Hate to say it but Brianwl has been actively helping the competitive community in the game as of recent which is something he really didn't have to do so I'm extremely thankful of him doing as such and I bet most of the competitive players are too.

Probably a rare pick, a silent mod with discpline and decent in doing his job.

A good mod does not always need to be very popular or liked by the players, it's about his qualities imo.

I like Cold Case and Sascha for charming behaviour and accessibility
Cold case for behaving mature and being High-minded
Sascha helped me transforming my external hard disk to internal about 1 year ago and he's a cool and responsible moderator <3

Alexis, cuz he gets his job done even when he's under fire.

Imagine a guy who first hear of moderators on december 2019 voting on this. I think I will just say gl to all mods

Cold Case, Sascha, or Brian. Because Brian won last year, I want to choose Sascha. A very good mod that listens, even though I think he doesn't like me, plus like Alois said, without him, the supporter team would be less effective then it is today. Sascha FTW

Yes, my vote goes to Brianwl without reservation. He was extremely helpful over the past year when I needed assistance setting up my coalition. Brian has a unique ability to always keep site of the trees when to everyone else it's just a big forest. To my mind he's the quintessential mod. Would highly recommend...

This community should be ashamed for not choosing Acquiesce. I thought he would win by a landslide already.

Acquiesce is the most devoted member of the mod squad. He works tirelessly day-in and day-out for the improvement of atWar. I've seen it first hand. Acquiesce is akin to Mother Teresa. He is the Father Teresa of atWar. He has a tender heart and kisses with the force of a thousand waterfalls. He deserves to be promoted to Chief Community Director.

Without Acquiesce, nobody would join this game, and I would have left it already.
