Quicker Picking:

what annoys me and surely other players is the time it takes to start a game, from the lobby to turn 1.

what I suggest is that for games with 10+ players, in the lobby players can choose a "preferred country". each player would select from a drop down option a country or region from the game, e.g. a player picks France. It done on a first come first serve basis, if you choose the country first you get that country, no players can pick the same country. when the game begins the "preferred country" is given to that player automatically, this saves time and speeds up the selection process.

IF a player joins straight into the game not though the in game lobby, they will get the same option if it is not their chance to select a country. if it is not chosen then they get the country, if someone choses that country before them, they get 30 seconds to chose a country when it come to their side selection.

however if a player joins straight into the game or opts not to select a country in the lobby they pick a country like normal, however they will only get 15seconds to pick a country instead of 30, this is because you should think about what country you want before you pick.

Or Fiji. Perhaps it could be a random country from a certain list of useful countries.

Yes but the long wait puts lost of players off and random selection in a scenario is a very good idea

how is it the worst idea? for senarios is actually a good idea but not for world map games, bit it add excitement and makes the game interesting and quicker to start

how is it the worst idea? for senarios is actually a good idea but not for world map games, bit it add excitement and makes the game interesting and quicker to start

Because i dont want the game chose what senario side im picking
