Emoji? What is this, AOL messenger? Emoji have absolutely no place in a game where the chat is as crowded as it already is.

No, the forum is not the same as the game. Discussion forums are adapted for images, while, a text-based communications system like Afterwind, in which you have only a few inchs of space, is not.
