Who is excited?
What do you expect from this season / first episode?

I want to see the Bran story line progress the most since he's the most "magical" character and i really love that shit.

I am looking forward to see:
- how will the Lannisters respond to the combined east/south and north threats
- what will happen when Daeneris meets with Jon Snow, since they don't know they are brothers
- how will the White Walkers go pass the Wall, because they will
- how will Westeros thwart the undead menace
-what will Arya do next
-new Houses engaged in the conflict

- regarding Sid's curiosity, I am curious about it too, but about Ned Stark's brother too, the undead slayer
- looking at the season/episode poster, should we expect that the main focus on action to be redirected from south to north? see from trailer that Jon goes again north of the Wall and find some Wildlings there...

I want to see the reaction of cersei towards the martells after her daughter was killed.

I think there are few scenes which show Cersei and her brother mad on the Martell's for that and Martell's sided already with Daeneris so they are in open war with the Lannister's after being in alliance with them against the Baratheon's, what more of a reaction you want...

My predictions for GoT:

1. Daenerys is in the process of ROFL-stomping Cersei when Euron uses dragonbinder to turn one of her dragons against her. Much terror ensues.
2. Jon & Co. go on an expedition beyond The Wall to bring back proof of White Walkers which they get.
3. They go to Dragonstone (where Dany is busy wasting time - as usual) and ask for help, presenting proof.
4. Dany and Jon come to admire each other and have mad, wild monkey sex with copious nudity. Incest ensues.
5. Daenerys leaves for the Wall, giving up her dream of taking the Iron Throne.
6. Somewhere this season or possibly season 8, she dies and becomes a White Walker/Wight.

If I'm right about even one of those, my life is complete <3

All that was confirmed is Jon is Lyanna's daughter. Father is likely Rhaegar Targaryen, but again it's not confirmed. But Aerys is certainly not Jon's father. Jon was either an elope-baby or a rape-baby if Rhaegar was his father. This would make Daenerys his aunt.

Not having read the books, I didnt know about Raegar, but now I did a little research and yes, it seems Daenerys is Jon's aunt, even if they are born around the same moment, namely Robert's Rebellion.
However, the only man alive who knows this fact is Bran and Daenerys is unlikely to believe this story being surrounded by such shrewd advisers like Lord Varys or Tyrion

Not having read the books, I didnt know about Raegar, but now I did a little research and yes, it seems Daenerys is Jon's aunt, even if they are born around the same moment, namely Robert's Rebellion.

Easy way to at least get a hint if he's being truthful: If the dragons like Jon, he's likely a Targaryen. Much like they liked Tyrion, giving credence to theories that he's a Targaryen too. If the dragons don't like Jon, they burn him. If he dies, he may or may not have been a Targaryen. If he doesn't, he's definitely a Targaryen. Then comes the issue of succession. If Rhaegar and Lyanna were married (even if forcibly), Jon has a stronger claim than Daenerys, although I doubt he'll press that claim (what with, you know, Daenerys have a motherfucking huge-ass army, an armada of ships and 3 dragons to boot). If Rhaegar and Lyanna weren't married, Jon's still a bastard (though a Targaryen one) and has no claim to the Iron Throne.

I believe that she being guarded by Rhaegar's strongest bodyguard is proof enough for Rhaegar's meddling there? or his fondness towards her? We may not know the entire truth if u put it this way and you are doubtful, I mean, not even Bran heared what Lyanna whispered to Ned's ear
