World Cup: REPORTERS

Hello friends of atWar,

This is the topic specific to reporters for the AW World Cup. Now the idea is that we want to feel the excitement surrounding the tournament, like an actual World Cup, and record useful information at the same time. Anybody can apply to be a reporter and they will be recorded in the main thread. All reporters who report at least 4 games will receive the special reporter trophy designed by Ted. Now, what is a good report?

For a report to be comprehensive, it should include:

1. An introduction with the settings, players and countries, and some predictions or analysis of possible outcomes.
2. A section on first turn expansions, preferably with screenshots, as it is the most important turn.
3. A description of events of the game as they unfold, accompanied with screenshots every few turns - every 3-4 turns is ideal.
4. Records of who killed who, who carried, who died early, etc
5. Some personal input: analysis, opinion, jokes, and anything to make it interesting. <----- IMPORTANT!

Also, please do not confuse journalist reports with captain reports. Seeing as reporters may not be available for every game, it is important for captains to briefly report what happens in each game for the purposes of personal awards.

Furthermore, there is no restriction on number of reporters covering a game. Some games could have 0 while others could have 3. Although, try not to duplicate reports a lot, but they will all most definitely be presented. I will send the best ones to AW Press to see if they want to do more with them as well, and on top of that I'll take excerpts from each report and make a final summary of the tournament and we'll see if the AW Press would like to do something with it as well.
