My intention is to make a 40 players scenario, so regardless of the timeline it will always have 40 factions. And that's it.

If will do a 40 players map you could do the seven kingdoms, could be fantastic see many houses obeying his lord of each house, like the tarly obeying highgarden, if you played crusader kings you will understand, could be excellent

Exactly. My intention is to make a FFA game, so your example of House Tarly being sworn to Highgarden (House Tyrell) might go the other way, maybe the Tarly and Hightower working together against their overlord.

Just wondering about a political scenario of Westeros c. 8,000 - 4,000 BC and this is what factions would look like:

First convince admins to add 40 players to map editor.

I mean had ever clovis added neutral events? Something scen mapmakers had been asking since day 1
