Hello again everyone,
A new in-game feature is up: You can now play standard map with - 1000 funds.
In that name, Croat decided to organise: 20v20 WORLD WAR!

The game will be hosted by me and it will start at 21:00h (gmt+1) .
For you who doesn't know how to calculate difference between timezones, just follow this countdown timer, the game starts in:

DETAILS:

First of all, thanks to everyone who attended the AW Movie Night this saturday (10/31), it was great!

That was the first of many events that will be happening on our Discord server, as you can see in the calendar below.



These events will take place regularly in order to strengthen our community as a whole, using Discord's tools and streaming service. The 1st ever atWar Witch Hunt

From now through October 31st, the Wicked Witch of the West is on the World Map, delivering destruction (and protocoins) for Halloween! Can you find her? There's a reward of 300 ProtoCoins on her head!

How does this work, you ask?

Find the Wicked Witch of the West, follow the instructions below, and get 300 protocoins! Here's what you need to do:

1) Find the Wicked Witch of the West unit (you must own it, not belonging to another player)
2) Take a screenshot
3) Post the screenshot and game link here on this thread
4) Protocoins will be added to your account once I verify! (Limit 1 time per player.)

NO FARMING. You must post the game link so I can verify.

As we may all know, atWar's current world map is more than a decade old. With all the current developments within the game, it has been the only thing that has not been sufficiently updated enough. The world map is and will be, the most important aspect of the game. The meta and player base revolves around the world map, but as new updates are being rolled out, a newer map is definitely needed in order to not just bring more activity to the game and keep up with the pace of the development, but also to bring something new for all of us to enjoy.

On behalf of the Game Meta team I'm announcing a few updates which have just gone live:

Buildings Changes:

• Fortifications now cost 1400 (previously was 700)
  
• Recruitment Centers now cost 1000 (previously was 700)
  
• Radar Arrays now cost 300 (previously was 700)
  
• Anti-Aircraft Defenses now cost 1000 (previously was 700)

Strategy Changes:

• Relentless Attack buff -- Bombers cost lowered by 10
  
• Sky Menace buff -- Air Transports capacity increased by 1
  
• Master of Stealth buff (or nerf? I'm not sure which you would consider this) -- Infantry defense lowered by 1, but cost also lowered by 10.

We're still working on new strategies to try, we'll keep you posted about that...
